More Shots from Our Bozeman Photo Walk

Here are several more shots taken last week during a photo walk in downtown Bozeman. I took these shots at the Farmer's Market in Bogert Park and near the Bozeman Public Library and Lindley Park. All shots taken hand-held with my Olympus e500 and 14-45mm lens. Raw files post-processed in LightRoom.

I am amazed at the tonality of these shots. It might be that I'm drawn to the colors of fall, but your oly really did the job.

I worked the shots pretty hard in post-processing. I'm happier with my modified RAW shots than the camera-produced .jpgs (I was shooting RAW+jpg just for the comparison). We had great light for most of the evening, so being able to warm up the white balance was important. I also played with hue and saturation more than normal to give the colors a boost. Finally, I did more manual sharpening than I normally do (I've recently just been letting LightRoom sharpen on export and leaving it at that). The full-size shots look a bit better than they do here - I took them down to 72dpi for the web.
