Dawn at Boysen Lake, Wyoming

The weekend after Thanksgiving, @brantnyberg and I trekked out to Boysen Lake near Riverton, WY to catch a few shots of the rising sun. Mother Nature had other ideas, however - with heavy fog and low clouds, we never did get a great sunrise but instead a gradual lightening to a gray morning. While it wasn't what we'd hoped for, we did spend some time taking a few shots of interesting rock formations and islands that looked great in the fog. We don't get much of this kind of fog in the inner-mountain region, so it was fun. All shots taken with my Olympus E500 and various Zuiko lenses. Post-processing done in LightRoom.

I think this shot captures the feel of the morning.
