Chelsea Embankment - B&W

A funny thing about photography - sometimes there are certain shots that 'just click'. In March 2005, I had a one day layover in London on my way home from Geneva. I stayed at the delightful Draycott Hotel near Sloane Square. I decided a walkabout was in order, so I toured the Chelsea neighborhood armed with my little Nikon 2100 point-and-shoot. I took this shot along the Thames' Chelsea Embankment. I only wish I'd had a higher quality camera with me - I'd love to enlarge this image and create a canvas or fabric print. It's a shot that I still cherish.

Perhaps you should shoot with B&W film more often? :) This is a nice shot.
