Grotto at Notre Dame

In the summer of 2007, I took the kids to the Notre Dame campus to show them the old haunts. Horrific traffic from Chicago trimmed the time we had on campus, but we had a great time nonetheless. I had a chance to capture a few frames - here's one of the Grotto. If you're familiar with Notre Dame, you know that this is one of the most peaceful, beautiful areas on campus. Whether you come here to pray, reflect, or just enjoy the silence, the Grotto is always a welcome escape. Shot with my 50mm prime, f2 for 1/25 sec.
